Emerging Technology, part 1
My article was about using smaller solar cells for solar panels and using a new material and glass lenses to make more energy. I think that in the future this will replace other power plants. I think that the possibilities for the future in this area will be much greater than they are now. Technology that was considered emerging technology back then that is now being used is the virtual assistant called Siri.

Technology article
Google has just created a new way of using glasses. The new Google Glasses allow's you to take pictures, make videos, send images to friends or online, see walking directions, search the web with voice command, and view translation, all without using your hands. You can activate the glasses by speaking, touching the lens, or by shaking your head. The glasses cost $1,500 dollars
Blabberize vs. Voki
I think that Blabberize was the easier than Voki. I liked blabberize more because you could use
any picture, unlike voki. I would use blabberize again. You could use these to do projects about a
person and make it look like there saying it.

Onlie safety
1. What personal information did Teresa give out? Her first name.
2. Have you ever put personal information on the Internet? Yes3. What do you believe is the most important thing to remember when using the Internet? Not to share any important information.
On the video that I saw there was a girl who shared her
password with her best friend, and then her friend shared it with some girls.
The other girls then got onto her e-mail account and sent a fake picture of her
and they sent messages to guys. The girl now has no friends and she gets
laughed at because people think she sent the messages.

Cyber Bully
The movie was similar to other cases of cyber bullying because the girl got really depressed and she tried to comment suicide because she was so sad. But the movie was much more dramatic and in the end the girl con fronted the cyber bully. This case was similar to other cases in which someone pretends to be someone else on the internet.

Netiquette
Netiquette is proper etiquette on the internet. Netiquette affects everyone one the internet because everyone should be following proper netiquette. Examples of good netiquette is respecting other people’s privacy, following the golden rule, not breaking the law, being ethical, and being forgiving of other people’s mistakes. Examples of poor netiquette is starting flaming wars, going through other people’s files, reading other people’s email, breaking the law, saying something to someone that you shouldn’t say to them to their face, not respecting other people’s time, and not being ethical.

What is Legal
Copyright is a form of protection on someone’s work so no one can steal it. Copyright can be in the form of music, artwork, movies, plays, and buildings. They can use someone else’s work if they get their permission. Someone can use it without asking permission if they are using it for research or for educational purposes. Or if someone’s criticizing it, making a parody, or reporting news. Copyright affects my life because if I want something protected then I would have to use copyright to protect it.

Country Project
My favorite part of the project was making the brochure. My least favorite part of the project was finding 5 different tourist spots to research. I learned that Spain has a lot of interesting facts. Something that was difficult to find while researching was the history of Spain. Some strong points in my presentation were the location slide. Some weak points in my presentation were the history slide.

Technology Summary
Ubuntu has developed moblie touch devices. They are the first to attempt to serve its own phone OS and desktop OS in a single package. On the new phone you can swipe the edges to go to other apps or to access menus. They have borrowed cues from Android and Windows 8. The new devices will probably not be as popular as Microsoft, but the may be good for small companies on a budget.
